Shipping, Return Policy & Info
At Matko, we take our time with each piece — and with your order too. Everything is handmade in small batches and packed carefully in reused, eco-conscious packaging before being shipped out from our studio in Pune.
Once your order is placed, please allow 7–10 working days for it to be packed and dispatched. You'll receive tracking information once the package is on its way. We currently ship across India via reliable courier services, with a flat shipping fee of ₹200 added at checkout.
Cancellations & Order Changes
Since we begin processing your order quickly, cancellations are only allowed within 24 hours of placing it. After that, the order is considered confirmed and cannot be cancelled or altered. Once payment is done, we will not be able to make changes to your order.
Returns, Damages & Credit Notes
Each Matko piece is handmade — one-of-a-kind, irregular, and full of character. That said, if your order reaches you damaged or incorrect, we’re here to help.

After reviewing the case, we’ll issue a credit note valid for 60 days — redeemable only on our website.
We do not offer refunds, and return shipping charges (if applicable) will need to be borne by the customer.
About the Handmade Nature
Each Matko piece is shaped by hand — pinched, coiled, slab-built, or wheel-thrown — and glazed in small batches. That means no two pieces are exactly the same. You may notice tiny differences in form, finish, or glaze flow — and that’s exactly what we love about handmade pottery.
We photograph all products in natural light, but due to studio glazes and varying screens, minor colour shifts may occur.
Privacy & Data Protection
Your trust means a lot to us. Any personal information you share with Matko — such as your name, address, or contact details — is used only to process your order. We never share, sell, or misuse your data.
Our website is built using Shopify, which provides a secure checkout experience and encrypted payment processing.
